About the Camp... |

Now in its 13th year, the Summer Music Camp strives to support the local music programs and continue music enrichment throughout the summer. The Summer Music Camp includes a symphonic band and a string orchestra. Schedules throughout the week will involve full rehearsals, sectionals, small ensembles, music theory and music appreciation. Campers will have the opportunity to choose electives such as: conducting, hand chimes, jazz band, percussion ensemble, chorus, guitar and exploratory instruction (learning to play a new instrument). Through small group and ensemble interaction, we will meet the needs of the various levels of each musician. The camp will perform a culminating concert Friday evening. |
